The “Model D” is Behringer’s hardware clone of the famous Minimoog synthesizer, built to function and sound like its counterpart from the 1970s. It is a monophonic, one voice at a time, instrument. In “Model D”, the album at hand, I generated a monophonic voice line for each track, then had a Python/Csound computer program take thousands of randomly detuned samples from it. These samples randomly fade in and out over a period of fifteen minutes. |
